This project stands out as one of my all-time favorite collections to work on. Teaming up with Yaia Gift, we set out to infuse our surf team riders with a fresh sense of identity and character, reminiscent of how a skate team would approach a new year. We dove deep into the essence of each surfer, uncovering their spirit animal and crafting a unique color palette, personalized typeface, and graphic aesthetic that would unify our team of 8 riders. The result? A collection that not only showcased individual personalities but also forged a strong sense of unity among the riders, akin to the camaraderie found within a skate team.
